Коллоквиум. The Courant Nodal Domains Theorem and all that

I plan to start my lecture with the celebrated Courant theorem which bounds the number of nodal domains of Laplace eigenfunctions, and then to turn to open questions and recent results lying at the crossroads of analysis, topology and probability theory inspired by Courant’s theorem.
